MS-PAINT

Microsoft Paint or 'MS Paint' is a basic graphics/painting utility that is included in all the Microsoft Windows versions. MS Paint can be used to draw, colour and edit pictures, including imported pictures from a digital camera for example. MS Paint is found in the Windows Start menu within the Accessories Folder.

How to open MS-Paint

Open the Windows Start menu, select Programs then Accessories and finally Paint
                                
Click on window button then search for Ms-Paint
Now click on Ms-Paint
We will get Ms-Paint window 



 Explanation about Ms-Paint:


Now you click on file button choose the new option then you can get a new file

New : (Ctrl+N) To open a new file. Create a new picture.
Open : (Ctrl+0) It is used to open any existed file. 
Save : (Ctrl+s) It is used to save any existed file or new file. 
Save as : (F12) It is used to save any existed file or new file. 

Print : (Ctrl+P) It is used to print the current picture.
Print setup : It is used to change the layout of picture. 
Print preview : It is used to preview and make changes before printing.

Send in email : It is used to send a copy of the picture in an email message as an attachment. 
Set as desktop background : It is used to set the current picture as your desktop background.


Properties : (Ctrl+E) It is used to change the properties of the picture.
Exit : It is used to exit button.


Clip board : 
Paste (Ctrl+V) : It is used to paste the contents of the clip board.
Past from : It is used to show the paste from dialog box and pick a file to paste. 
Cut (Ctrl+X) : It is used to cut the selection from the canvas and put it on the clip board. 
Copy (Ctrl+C) : It is used to copy the selection from the canvas and put it on the clip board.

Select : It is used to select a part of the picture.
1. Selection shapes :  
Rectangular selection : Select a rectangular area by drawing on the canvas.
Free-form selection : Select an area of any shape by drawing on the canvas.   
2.Selection options : 
Select all (Ctrl+A) : Select the enter picture.
Invert selection : Reverse the current selection.
Delete selection : Delete the current selection from the canvas. 
Transparent selection : Make the background color in the selection transparent or opaque. 



Crop (Ctrl+Shift+X) :  It is used to crop the picture so it only contains the current selection. 
Resize and skew (Ctrl+W) : It is used to resize and skew the picture or selection.  
Rotate or flip : It is used to rotate or flip the picture or selection.
 Tools :     
1. Pencil : Draw a free-form line with the selected line width.
2. Fill with color : Click an area on the canvas to fit it with the foreground color, or right click to fill it will the background color. 
3. Text : Insert text into the picture.
4. Eraser : Erase part of the picture and replace it with the background color. 
5. Color picker : Pick a color from the picture and use it for drawing. 
6. Magnifier : Change the magnification for a part of the picture. 
         

Brushes : Draw with different kind of brushes.
